Stories are a vital part of life. It is one way that we connect our lives to those of our listeners. They let us talk about the subject in an interesting way–metaphorically. In this module you will learn the art and craft of storytelling.
Module 4: Your Voice Matters!
The tone and quality of your voice have a big impact on communication. In this module you will learn about the importance of your voice, and how you can work with it to make it become more resonant and more expressive.
Module 5: Your Body Speaks!
Body language has a huge impact on communication. Learn how to make sure you are communicating what you intend to be communicating with your body. To be believed, your body language needs to be congruent with your message.
Module 6: Speaking on Your Feet
It’s time to focus on speaking spontaneously. We do it all the time. In this module you will learn how to keep relaxed and “in the flow” when the spotlight is on. Most of all, enjoy!
BONUS Module: Online Communication
These days, we are doing a LOT more Team & Zoom calls, and online meetings in general. Many people still have hybrid work schedules. Do you just lurk in the background, turning off your camera, instead of making your presence felt and heard? Is that serving you well or do you get lost in the shuffle of people who are “in the room”? This is our most technical module–we’ve put together the many crucial Tips and Strategies for setting up your lighting, camera, microphone, and background so that you can be at your best online. Face it–these are the skills that you will need for the next decade!
